During this uncertain time it feels good to reignite this blog. Something we’ve toyed around with doing and never got around to. Now we find ourselves quarantined in ‘our country home’ and it feels like no better time than to pick it back up. So much has changed since 2013 when we first started this during our journey of building on the farm, and so much has yet remained the same. Maybe this beautiful hub we call home has been the constant through it all, although we know all we need are the 5 beautiful souls that dwell inside it. Using this blog as a place to time capsule our family’s memoir – “a historical account or biography written from personal knowledge or special sources”–well we are “special sources” for sure;) OR “an essay on a learned subject”–well we sure have learned a lot! Whatever the angle, we figure it will be great to look back on all the memories created in “our country home”.
