It’s crazy to me to look back and see how our dining room first looked in 2013 when we built. She’s come a long ways folks! And I sure do love the way she shines now! I remember being in love with the bronze chandelier I picked out from Pottery Barn and I still do think it’s a classic. But as I changed out furniture pieces and gave a more modern farmhouse feel to the space, the more I realized I needed to change my once focal to a design that brought it all together. Still a Pottery Barn chandelier! I love the wider gold look that’s in the room now and I think the IKEA slipcover dining chairs are an affordable linen option that I’m here for. They are easy to wash with children and messy projects and have proven to be durable. When the record player is playing in the dining room and you can hear it while making dinner in the kitchen that’s when it’s pure magic and fills my heart with joy!
