The bathroom got it’s cubby’s this week and the sink and toilet are in! But waiting to share the finished product until we get the hardware all up as the vintage mirrors I think will be the finishing touch – but we are loving the look of it and can’t wait to have a place for our guests to put their suitcase, clothes, and shoes. We are definitely making the most of the space!

The stained wood to cover the upper beam got nailed in and looks great. We love having the contrast of the dark stain running into the white shiplap. We were burning the “midnight stain” I’ll say the last few nights as we were staining tread boards for our stairs – it’s a long process as you do 2 coats and then sand and then 2 more coats, etc. And then we are also painting the face boards white. Joe and I think these stairs will look great in the end and we are loving seeing all the pieces even as they dry so when they create stairs they have to be that much better right!? #paintedstairs

Also, our countertops for the bar area and portable table were delivered and the sneak peek through the box excites me already!

Ready to see this all come together and put into place what was in our heads!
