It feels so weird to call that the title of this post when we began this process last July, but it is officially time to start construction 🙂  Today they came out to stake our driveway, house and garage.  These are the first pictures of this process over the coming months, and so it begins…

This is where our gravel driveway begins.

This is where it turns left (at the end of the existing heifer shed) to start facing our garage.

Close to the first stake which is the corner of the garage or where the garage door will be.  There will be a cement apron before the garage.

Standing at garage door stake and facing the second set of stakes which is the far end of the house.

Open the front door….and this is what you’ll see 🙂 Standing exactly where the front door will be.

View out the left side of the house.  I’m standing where the windows on each side of the fireplace will be on the far end of the house.

My favorite picture.  The view out the back of our house. If you were sitting at our farmhouse table or looking out our kitchen sink window – this is what you’d see. I cannot wait to sit at the table with a cup of coffee and see Joe on the tractor 🙂
