My great aunt called to tell us about an ad in the newspaper for a free playhouse to whoever came and removed it. She had heard Joe was going to build a playhouse/dog house combo with the girls this summer and thought maybe this would be perfect timing.

We contacted the seller and when he sent over pictures of the 7×7 playhouse looking like Dorothy’s house after the tornado and wore down from childhood memories already made…we wondered if the juice was worth the squeeze. But as in any good fixer upper story we could see it’s potential to be revived into a beautiful country playhouse on our farm. And so we begin…💪🔨
