Recently we had a family session with the talented Maison Meredith and brought along our newest addition:) The day of the pictures it rained but broke just before sunset. Milo was a trooper and for the most part cooperated, but definitely got a little wet running through the tall grass before he was cued in.

I have always said it’s worth the extra effort to set up a time to take family pictures once a year if you can do it, as the kids really do grow so fast. It’s never an easy day, usually some whining accompanied by “this doesn’t fit”. But Maison does such a great job connecting with the kids and getting them to just have fun with it– which in turn brings out real laughs and smiles. We always leave having had a good time with Maison and Caleb and grateful we did it.

We love his big floppy ears, his weepy eyes, and the way these turned out. I am so grateful we captured this time with our {not so little} country pup.
