It has been a trying time to say the least! Winter break was a nice time with no virtual school for the kids, so we decided to do a bedroom makeover with them as they had been talking about wanting to do this for awhile, and well– what better time than quarantine!
One thing I can always hang onto is creativity. It is my outlet. When I’m stressed, watch out Joe all bets are off as to what you’ll find me designing, moving, painting, or possibly “adding to cart”. Some could say I need to control a situation {*cough* Joe *cough*} others could call it caring about Feng shui and wanting to create an energy in an environment. Call it what you may, but the girls room feels elevated and fresh for the new year ahead! My hope is that they feel inspired to dream big in there!!!
I love the dimmable lamp as a Studio McGee touch for the girls since they are fan girls too. And that Anthropologie mirror is what dreams are made of! I love the gold frame from Framed and Matted with a watercolor floral cow print I found on Etsy that I love, and I think ties into the Opalhouse wallpaper from Target perfectly!
