When we built our farmhouse we decided to not paint any walls other than the girls bedroom. I’ve always loved the fresh and clean look of a bright white walled farmhouse. It feels so classic and timeless, and I love that every season against it {and seasonal decor} gives it a different look. I love neutrals and so when I decided to paint the first thing in our home in the fall of 2019, I figured this Spiced Brandy color and our mudroom door was the perfect way to dip my toes in. The Magnolia rug helps hide the ceramic tile that now feels outdated to me. I’d love to replace it with a brick herringbone floor but that feels like too big of a project right now.
