We gave the dining room a new look recently! Nothing crazy in this quick makeover but huge improvement in the overall look. We removed three old hutches from the room that we had had forever and for as much as I loved filling them, it’s nice to let that room breath a little!

One of the hutches we actually brought back in and just removed the top, and now have a fun little wine bar. {Thanks Andrea for the idea!} I just picked up some new knobs for it and think it’s a perfect addition!

As most of my crazy ideas happen, this all spurred from an IKEA run for wedding related items {so completely not on my radar/unrelated}, and when I found some beautiful velvet green chair covers for the holidays, I was quickly down a rabbit hole pulling the trigger on fleeting ideas I’ve had for this space. I love the black IKEA bookcases which caught my eye over the black buffet I had been originally planning on, and I absolutely love the tassel knobs we added to them which are perfect for our country home!
