To give the room some accent color and also have a fun feature – we decided to do a TV bump out and make those pine boards a different look. White and grey are always a great color duo and although this grey stain came out more blue-grey than a light grey – we believe everything happens for a reason right! 🙂 We wanted a tie in some galvanized tin somewhere and bring in that silver galvanized color – so the end caps of this bump-out are a galvanized material. A great finishing look. The frame inset below where the TV will mount will be a perfect place to display a beautiful small fern and some books…that I’ll read in all my spare time 😉 Or some colorful plastic toys that I’m sure will actually sit up on there from the kids 😉
