Bathroom

Jun 13

The bathroom has come together in stages too! We have the same vinyl wood floor in as throughout the entire basement, and the matching pedestal sink and toilet as in our upstairs. This time I wanted to do the wider cross handle faucet with the porcelain “Hot” and “Cold” to give it a little vintage parlor bathroom feel. Adding to that same vibe I played into it with the bathroom hardware – a vintage inspired tilting mirror, a porcelain soap dish, and a retractable face mirror. I think with the little accent pieces I’ll bring into the upper shelving of the cubby unit – it will really have that vintage bathroom feel, and not to mention the retro schoolhouse light above the sink! The built in cubby will come in handy for our guests to be able to set their suitcase on and store shoes underneath, a dowel rod to hang dress clothes if they had some for a special event, and hooks to hang their towels.  Remember maxing out every square inch! 😉
