Enjoying more time in our kitchen with the change of pace, it’s been fun baking simple recipes with the kids. This time it may have still been simple in it’s ingredients, but just took a little longer to make:) Who can argue with my girl Joanna Gaines though?! I loved reading about how she makes these with her family on the last day of school to celebrate the kick-off to summer. We may have one more week of viral learning left, but we’re already celebrating the start of summer!

The kids and I had a blast making these, and I had to stop them from eating all of the cookies before we had even made the sandwiches! We doubled the recipe so we could have enough to share with family– and they were a unanimous hit! We highly recommend them!
